At the time, the company was in a growth phase, and Lazaro became part of the foundational team helping shape the Nelson Exteriors you know today. In those early years, Lazaro played a key role in shaping how Nelson Exteriors operates today—helping create processes, mentoring incoming team members, and setting the standard for project quality that the company still follows.
Though he entered the construction and renovation industry in 2005 with no formal background, he learned the trade from the ground up—long before YouTube tutorials existed—by reading manuals, practicing techniques, and mastering installation methods. His motivation was simple: every new skill meant better results for homeowners and smoother workflows for his team.
